Purchased Hours — For small, one-off updates. Buy hours online at $70/hour, then email us your changes and your receipt number and we'll get them done. If a job needs more time than you've bought, we'll always check with you first — you can top up or trim the scope. Hours are valid for 3 months.

Block of Hours — For something more substantial, buy a block of 8 hours for $520 (just $65/hour) — around a day's work. Use it across one session or several, valid for 3 months. Ideal for a batch of updates, a shop refresh, or a job you'd rather knock over in one go.

It's hard to say exactly, since it depends on the size and complexity of each job — but as a rough guide:

• Around 2–3 blog posts added and formatted in an hour, depending on length and images

• 1–2 portfolio or case study pages (with images and copy) in an hour

• 10–15 simple text edits in an hour

• Adding events, small content changes, and image swaps are quick and usually grouped together

These are just a guide — some jobs are faster, some take a little longer. Each request has a minimum charge of 1 hour, so it's worth grouping a few changes together to make the most of your time.

We always use your hours efficiently, and if something's going to need more time than you've bought, we'll let you know before we go ahead, never a surprise. You can then top up or trim the scope, whatever suits.

A monthly maintenance retainer is the best way to have AdminSpace look after your website. We get to know your business and what your site needs to maintain its ranking and keep attracting leads. It also means we keep your site current with any Squarespace platform updates, so nothing breaks quietly in the background.

Retainers run for a minimum of 3 months charged at the discounted rate of $60 per hour, starting from 6 hours per month. After the initial 3 months, you continue month to month and cancel any time.

Any unused time can roll over once to the following month while your retainer is active — or we may suggest putting it toward extra SEO landing pages or other improvements, so the hours never go to waste. If you need more time in a month, additional hours can be purchased as needed at your retainer rate of $60 per hour.

When you start a retainer you're committing to a minimum of 3 months. After that, it simply continues month to month with no lock-in. To stop it, just log in to your customer account — or use the link in any of your billing emails — and cancel there. It stops renewing at the end of your current paid month, and you keep the time you've already paid for through to then.

AdminSpace handles maintenance and content — the day-to-day running of your site. Anything that crosses into a full redesign, a new build, or complex custom work is outside what we do. For those jobs we work with Spacesites, a Squarespace design agency we can refer you to. We'll always be upfront about which type of job you've got, so you're never paying maintenance rates for design work or vice versa.

For retainer clients, routine updates are typically turned around within a couple of business days, and we'll always flag anything urgent. One-off jobs are scheduled in as capacity allows. If something's time-sensitive — a price change, an event date, a product going live — let us know and we'll prioritise it.

Squarespace handles the hosting, security, and core platform updates itself, which is one of the reasons it's such a solid choice. On a monthly site retainer, what we do is make sure your site keeps pace with those platform changes — that nothing in your layout, styling, or content breaks when Squarespace updates things behind the scenes. It's the difference between the platform being maintained and your specific site being looked after.

Not at all. We look after any Squarespace site, whoever built it — you, a designer, or anyone else. If it's on Squarespace, we can take the day-to-day maintenance off your hands.

It's quick and secure. In your Squarespace dashboard, go to Settings > Permissions and invite us as a contributor with Administrator access — that's the level we need to make changes across your site.
